Deflated Dreams was supported by the Victorian College of Arts (VCA) and Epic Games as part of the Unreal Engine Short Film Challenge. The animation team, composed entirely of students, were given two weeks of training in Unreal Engine 5, and a further six weeks to create the film. The project was made in collaboration with VCA Master of Producing students as well as musicians from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music.

Deflated Dreams tells a heartwarming story about imagination, hope, and never giving up despite your limitations. These themes, as well as Tony’s lovable and endearing personality, are sure to connect with audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
