Hello! My name is Matilda, I am a multidisciplinary visual artist located in Naarm/Melbourne. I am a recent graduate of a Bachelor of Fine Art Animation from the Victorian College of the Arts.
My work explores a combination of my own personal life experience and observations. I’m heavily inspired by the world around me. For me, animation is about showcasing your independent lens and perspective. It is a limitless medium with so many possibilities. I am especially inspired by stop motion animation and the miniature worlds in which my characters exist.
